Tranny is rough shifting after driving in city

My 2004 GT shifts fine on the highway but when I'm around a city for half hr or so in slower traffic it starts a rough shifting. I guess it gets warmer in the slow traffic. Any ideas? thanks
 


Probably getting a P1181 code Max adapt shift. How many miles are on the trans. and when was the last time the fluid/filter was changed?
