tranny going out? clutch pack?

so i don't know how to really explain this so i'll just try to explain the scenario. I'd be at a stop light or at a complete stop and when i go to hit the gas its like it doesnt' wanna go right away its hesitant. it's like the first gear is shot or something or its trying to shift into 1st from 2nd or sometihng. idk how else to really explain it besides it being hesitant to take off. so it might be that the clutch pack is getting bad or is my tranny showing signs of fault? idk, i'm just throwing ideas out. it doesn't do this every time i'm stopped only once and a while it'll do it so not very consistent. any ideas would be helpful so i many can catch this problem before it gets possibly gets worse.?

are the rmp's rising and the car not moving? or you think its more the engine stumbling some.

could try cleaning the maf and TB up.

cant remember if they did or not. i wanna say yes they did and the car not moving.

still clean throttle body and maf sensor?

engine light not on. had it turn on once a few weeks ago before i parked it for the winter but that was for a cylinder misfire which has yet to happen again.

how many miles you got on it? hows the fluid look?

i've only put about a 1k on it. total about 88k total on the car. fluid on the dip stick looks ok. not great. going to change it in the spring when i start driving it again. probably could tell more signs of a problem if there is one when i change the fluid. might just need a change in fluid?

V8's are tranny killers. if its shuddering on take off, it on its way out. some lucas trans medic may save you it for a while.
