• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

track night videos

Finally got a chance to take the gtp to the track to test the new setup:

First run:
me vs old hemi dodge (weird you can't hear the SC whine on this one). Not sure about the dodge's mods, it at least had headers and cam based on the way it sounded.

(sorry video wasn't taken from the start)

my ET: 14.50
dodge: ET 13.90

Solo run (loud SC):

‪a‬‏ - YouTube

this time 14.80 ET, no traction =(

Other kills were a 2004 outlander lol and a 2000 civic, went like half track ahead of those. Most people here confuse the gtp with a grand am and think they will loose, but not for much. I never turn down a challenge though.

Remember this was taken at 5000+ feet. Yes, you run stock times with these mods at this altitude. A stock GTP runs high 16s here.

I helps :p

Corrected for 5,000 ft. sea level...

14.50 = 13.601

14.80 = 13.8824

What were the trap speeds for those runs? Whatever they were...just multiply them by 1.0661 to get the corrected Trap.

Oh I never heard of the correction factors before, where did you get them from? Trap speeds aren't given to us at the track on those events... but according to the power tuner, they were around 96 MPH.

uhm... so i'm not entirely sure about these factors. If i punch in 16.60 ET @ 5000 ft. which was the stock ET here, I get 15.57 corrected ET, which doesn't make sense, since I've read that stock GTPs run 14.90s stock at sea level.

Gotta account for humidity, air temp, driver mod, ect. Trust me, im not that high up but 95* weather does a LOT.
