Trac button stays lit on 2K GP GT 3.8L

The "wide Trac" TRAC selector button (ON DASH) stays lit and seems inoperable. Was this a "gimick" or is it worth it & an easy fix ?

that usually leads to a bad hub or wire to the hub.

Just in case, if the light resets itself when you turn car off and then comes back on later and/or your tach quits working at same time, you might investigate the crank position sensor. My 2000 gt was doing that and crank sensor fixed it.

the abs light is not on, The TRAC button is inop. also the drivers side HI BEAM has burnt out for the second time in a week.
