tps code popped up after this

99 gtp wifes car while she was driving to work for about 3 miles first start in morning it just died twice she calls from side of road so i told her to try to start again all good after that. no lights so i took it for a ride the next day did the same to me . to get it going just had to keep foot on gas then it came out of it ran just fine for a couple miles did it again same thing so i went home then the ses light came on 2 codes p0101 p0121 tps and maf so i changed tps cleared codes took it for a ride same thing same codes could my computer be bad or could a bad maf do this also .dont want to just start buying sensors. what would you do next?
 


Check the fuse for the MAF, and also the wiring to it. A lot of times the harness can be bad causing weird issues like this.
 
I've had issues with the TPS in the past, and sometimes the fault just goes away. in my case, the problems typically arise after I have changed the throttle body, so a different TPS was installed. There is a TPS relearn procedure that is supposed to fix any TPS problems, but eventually the pcm relearns what it needs.
