Torx socket question

I've been looking all over the city for the torx e4 and e5 sockets and I cant find them anywhere. My next step is to just bite the bullet buy them online and just hope they get here soon. So my question is can i find an appropriate regular socket to use? Has anyone done this? Any suggestions?

Yeah but they don't have it in stock here, I would have to order it. I need to fix this ASAP. Thanks for your help though

The only thing that I can think of is either he's trying to remove the MAF, which requires a safety torx, trying to remove the TB, or trying to remove the 2 studs that the ICM/coils sit on top of, which if thats the case then I would just thread another nut onto the stud and tighten them against each other then stick a wrench on the nut closest to the head and remove as noraml using the outer nut to keep it tight. Or just vice grip the silly thing worst case, lol..

I'm changing out the ignition switch. It's my daily driver so I cant just have it apart for days if the socket doesn't work and I have to order actual torx sockets online. It's not a fast install from what I hear anyway so I just don't want to be stuck in the middle and have to put it back together

The only place I could find one local was in a screwdriver set at my local sears. I tried harbor freight and everywhere else I could think of.

Sent using my bionic thumbs from my sweet DROID Razr Maxx

I've pretty much tried everywhere local and no one has it in stock, harbor freight was back ordered. I'm just going to try to do it without it today and I guess order it online if I feel like I'm going to strip it. Damn "safety bolts". If I had just ordered it online in the first place I might have it now.

it was a ***** finding that e4(e5? whatever size it was) socket, harbor freights 6-packs or whatever were e5/e6 and larger. i think i found it at a classic auto parts store for like 3 bucks.
