Torque Converter Slip

I just have a few question on TTC Slip, which I have been watching on my handy Aeroforce.

On the highway, cruising i get 15-20. Which I think is about right. When I let go of the throttle, a few seconds later it will pop up 7900 for a few seconds and then go back to 0. I noticed when I would brake it would show 7800-7900 also.. sometimes.

From 40 MPH at 10% throttle, I saw 600-800 slip, then slowly down to normal. slowly.

27 MPH, 3rd gear, uphill, 1100 Slippage.. :th_sign-omg:

Oh and this happend three times so far: Cruising about 55-65 MPH, let go of the throttle. Car would not accelerate anymore, then all of a sudden it starts accelerating on its own!:th_sign-omg:

Not too hard but noticable that the car starts going on its own. Sadly I wasnt able to catch this while my aeroforce was on to see whats going on.

Any ideas?

it's normal.

The TCC locks under X conditions. It unlocks when you let off the throttle, it also unlocks when you touch the brake pedal. It's working properly. Slippage means it's not engaged.

Oki doki, thanks. What about when the car wants to drive on its own? Ever hear about this before? It will stop as soon as I touch my brake pedal. No, not my floor mat catching the gas pedal.. I checked.

And my TCC wants to engage at 30 everytime, its really annoying. I thought the normal speed for a TCC to engage was 45 MPH?
