I'm a total noob to the to the Grand Prix. I'll admit that right now. So I'm gonna start this thread now and begin asking questions. Instead of making a bunch of different threads I'm gonna save clutter and just ask them here. So here goes, I'll just keep adding questions as I come up with them.
1. I'm thinking of taking the G1 projectors I have in my cobalt and re-retrofitting them into a set of stock GP housings. They're made to fit any car with 9007 bulbs, but do you think they'll fit in the housings? They're pretty small.
2. I know I need different fogs to run hids in them, but I'd like to get projector fogs instead of just reflector ones, are there any that fit? If so does anyone have pics or a link to where I can get them?
3. I'm just gonna say this now, the tan interior in this car is ugly as hell. Who out there has done a full interior swap to the gray plastics/leather. Junk yard gonna be the best place to find them.
4. I think I'm gonna end up needing new brakes in the next 10k miles or so. Where do you guys go for brakes? I have rotors from R1 Concepts and Hawk HPS pads on my balt and I love them, who here is running the hawk pads and how to you like them compared to stock?
6. My rear speakers do not function at all, and my fronts suck. Is the speaker install and more difficult than normal? Can I wire the new speakers into the existing wiring and just use them as stock replacements? Or will I have to get an amp?
7. If I find a GP at a junk yard with a HUD am I able to add it in? If so how involved is it or is it pretty much plug and play? Is there a how to on this?
