Today's Adventures...

On the docket for today...

Replace the front passenger side wheel bearing hub, as well as the front and rear sway bars with GMPP ones (front stock one is broken in two).

With any luck, I'll have time to install the PLOG, but that isn't suspension based, so that would be for a different area on the forums.

Wish me luck!

Re: Today's Adventures... Sway bar help needed please.

Well, the wheel bearing hub was a P.I.T.A. to get off of the axle, but after a few hours, that job is done.

The new front sway bar was also a P.I.T.A. to remove, and I still don't have the new GMPP one installed. I can't seem to get it into place. I think that the tie rods may need to be removed, but I can't seem to get the nut all of the way off of the bolt that holds it on. I have no idea on what to do next and need to look at it again after a good night's sleep

I got the PLOG installed, which was actually very easy, but that, as I said, is for a different topic area on the forums.

Any tips for getting the new GMPP sway bar in place? I fear that unless I can somehow get the nut off of the bolt holding the ball joint on, I will have to cut it off and get new tie rod ends. :(
