• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

i know this might sound stupid but def check the wiring from the sensor on the oil pan all the way to the harness.mine was recently chewed through by mice i guess? also have had the neighbor complain of the same issue on his monte carlo...his were chewed about 15 inches away from the sensor.mine were chewed right at the sensor...go figure...must be tasty wire?

i was just in another forum i used to belong to and several folks have the same problem! i dont understand why they like these wires so much? maybe cause they are pretty low to the ground?

mice and rats can chew through almost anything. if a car sits long enough, they make a home out of it. air filter boxes are a favorite home lol

my cars last owner was from newark NJ, there was rat poison zip tied all over the engine bay.

I have seen a car will teeth marks all over the underbody. owner believes it was porcupines eating the rustproofing that was applied to the car. they chewed everything rubber also, which left a big holes in the fuel filler neck. The owner had us zip tie tin foil to every rubber hose on the fuel tank and evap lines. Don't know if it worked.

I've had the oil level sensor unplugged for years now and the light comes on maybe once every 10 times I drive it.
