tips on motor drop in

At this point ive got an issue .... Due to the position of the motor i have got 4 of the trans to motor bolts in but the motor is about 3/4 inch away from trans. My question is would it be safe to tighten the 4 bolts to draw the motor in? As the other side of motor the cradle is sitting on the mount very off.

That's what I did. Try to wiggle it as close as you can first, when you start to tighten the bolts just do a little at a time to spread the load on individual bolts so you don't strip one.

How did ou have your picker hooked up mines set kinda crooked im thinking about moving it towards the passenger side or something this is horrible

I had mine hooked up on two opposite corners of the motor. One of the dogbone mounts and the opposite corner.

As long as your converter is properly seated on the transmission stator support, you can definately pull it right in with the bolts. It's the way it's done. :th_thumb-up:
