So, looking to get some headers. Most likely the SD ones since I heard they pretty much do the same job as the more expensive ones. I've heard about the downpipe being extremely low to the ground, my question is how low? Could anyone possibly post a picture on a GP? Also looking for a full catback exhaust. Could anyone possibly link me to where I can get the stock catback from? Does anyone know if the SD headers work with a ZZP DP?

I'm looking for $350 for my SD Headers. Brand new with 0 miles on them! Not even. I have 3 coats of VHT 2000° Silver. Chipped paint is all because I bought the wrong headers. I have an 04 Pontiac Grand Prix Supercharged. Headers only fit 1997-2003 smh, rookie mistake!... Two 3 inch & two 2.5 clamps from ZZP. I have the SD gaskets but it's recommended to buy Felpro gaskets or GM Original... The V band clamp is not in the pic but it's included.

FYI, the clamps that come with the SD Headers are for sure not recommended. Problems with leaks and deforming the shape of the headers. Definitely create problem if you want to take them off...

As shown they're wrapped with with the high quality Titanium wrap, making the engine bay super cooler than usual, also keeping heat inside, making the headers seem longer and heat flow faster out. Wrap on the cross pipe will also kee the throttle body cooler. Included, the rest of the role of headrr wrap for the back header along with 6 stainless steel zip ties to finish wrap.

As you can see, the paint is chipped and not cured or baked on the headers to keep header paint on. That's just ware and tare from trying to make them fit only to realize they're only for (97-03) GTP's, Buick & so on . As well, you can see that they're not used. An obvious shine of newness.

I recently installed SD headers in my 04 GTP. I don't have pictures at the moment, but the bend on the downpipe doesn't sit terribly low. It is definitely lower than the stock downpipe, but only maybe an inch lower than the engine cradle. I haven't scraped it on anything yet after over a month. Installation was a huge pain due to rusted bolts and whatnot on the old exhaust coming out. Took me about ten hours in total, by myself.

Oh, and the SD headers will not bolt up to a ZZP downpipe.
 
those headers will fit, i know of many who have em. what part didnt fit right? you might have got a set with a poorly bent cross over pipe. be the only reason they dont fit.

Yeah, I tried everything. I'm based in California and no shop wants to touch them. And I can't find anyone who will. So tomorrow, I'm going to have one last go at it. Was told I'll need an o2 bung extension and to re wrap the headers a couple of inches away from the welds to prevent cracking. I'm going to give it one last go.

being your in ca, what you need to do is re use the stock cat to pass inspection, the in and out tubes need to be cut off then cut open to a 3 inch pipe size and welded in, so you can use the header dp.

if the cross over pipe is the hang up its not bent right, would need a shop or some one who can weld and or bend pipe for ya to fix it.

you need a o2 extension harness cause it gets moved lower. you also nee to hammer the fire wall so the o2 clears it.
 


I wish I could figure out how to sell something that does not increase performance and causes the owner nothing but headache.
