Tie rod end ?s

So I have a 2002 pontiav grand prix went to take off the tie rod and there is no cotter pin or castle nut. It has a regular nut and at the bottom of the stud theres a fitting for a socket. Ive loosened the nut ( I think ) before I noticed the bottom of the stud now it just spins and I just dont know what to do



HELP
 


I just did my tie rods this past weekend and had the same thing happen. All you have to do it grab the stud with some vice grips and turn the nut with a regular wrench.
