ticking from inside the intake manifold!

Well as the title says I have a loud ticking sound coming from inside the intake manifold it only does it when I start it an will go away after the car reaches the normal temp. range. So about 5to10 min. was hoping some one on here can steer me in a good direction to what it could be an Thanks for any help guys!!!!
 


how many miles you have on it? youre lifters are probably just wearing out if its higher mileage, if not you could have a bad oil filter with a defective drainback valve in it.

yea probably just lifters, if it really bothers you replace them, otherwise if it goes away they still pump up fine.
