Tickeng noise when letting out of boost

Hey guys gota question. Anyone know what would cause a ticking noise that sounds like its coming out of the S/C...it comes an goes. only happens just out of even alittle boost. Is it a bearing in the S/C it self? Ik its not comeing outa the motor cause a rod would be a constant tick
if i have no boost it will not happen. low on oil maby? let me know Thanks

Could be the coupler. They go bad.

Buy a green one from ZZP thye last forever.

Have you installed an intake? I hear a ticking sound too when it's just around 0 psi under acceleration, right before the SC kicks in and my coupler is new.

I only started noticing this sound when I installed an intake.

I had the same problem, ended up having an exhaust leak. (front manifold cracked, stupid me)

no still stock intake...My motor went dead lean for some reason. GM is saying my ECU was surging. I was like..."OK?" My oil pump is driven by the cams, has nothing to do with my ECU. Then they said "You threw timing 16-18 degrees." GM is putting a new motor in it as we speak UNDER WARENTEE!!!!:th_nanana:
