Thump in my Grand Prix

Because thump is a great way to desribe anything!

I have a 2004 Grand Prix GTP

Very inconsistent, but generally happens upon acceleration from a complete stop or when coming to a complete stop (rare)
DOES NOT do it if my wheels are turned and I accelerate from a complete stop.

Any ideas on what I should check?
 


Mostly it seems to come from the front right
On braking, my husband seems to think it's coming from the rear, but I disagree
 


Hmm, I all can think of is a possible strut mount and or sway bar links. With the age of the car its not unlikely for these parts to be worn out. But its still hard to say what exactly it is because it doesnt happen that often.
