Throttle Body Topswap question

So I finally picked up my Gen V today and the guy gave me it with the throttle body still attached. I remember reading somewhere that the L32 throttle body doesn't work with the L36. I don't remember the reasoning but can someone confirm this for me? I was planning on buying a N* for when I do the swap but if I could save that money then I definitely will.

And yes I tried searching and looked in the topswap thread but didn't find anything saying either way.

it doesnt work because you dont have drive by wire like they do. you need an adapter to run your throttle body.

Ok great thanks a lot Bio. I'm going to check prices for the adapter right now. Would you reccomend just getting another throttle body or would either be ok? Any benefits from one or the other?

Anyone?

Basically just want to know which throttle body is most recommended? LS1, N*, L67, my L36, or getting the L32 one I have to work? I also see that ZZP has a high velocity throttle body. Or even ported? I want good throttle response but am not really sure which one will give the best or is worth spending the money on.

a lot of people don't like the feel of the n*, i like mine. Your going to have to block the evap solenoid port on the s/c, and run an extra vacuum line, only if you don't want to run a breather.

So seeing how the N* costs a ton and there's no LS1 TB to be found I'm going to go with a ported L67. I have to buy an adapter plate for it with a Gen V even if I have it ported and opened up a little right?
