Thrasher Intake Install Question

Hey guys, I have '01 GTP and I got a Thrasher Intake off a guy for cheap. I believe I have all the parts and Im going to try to install it so. I know the company is long gone, but if anyone has one here, do you remember how the PCM is secured???

I am reading these instructions and It looks like you just kind of lay it in there.. That doesnt seem very secure.. is that how it works?

I don't own one but from the pics it looks like the cover will hold it down from moving
I have my pcm just laying there with nothing strapping it down with no problems so I wouldn't worry

Yeah, it pretty much lays in there, the intake tubing helps hold it still, along with it PCM tray. The tray will help hold it still too, by pushing it up some.

Dont worry, it wont go anywhere

Wow.. thanks for the quick replies guys. I been searching around the internet for an hour looking for more detailed instructions.. shoulda just posted here first. :)

Think Ill try to install it tommorow.. let you know how it goes :)

Alright.. got it installed. Makes a pretty cool sound now when I floor it :)

Thanks again for the help!

that's in so much better shape than mine lol!

looks good man, if your top hits the filter you can shim it up with weatherstripping to allow a little more airflow in, i mean... its something ya know?
