Thrasher intake install info

I just received a used thrasher intake with 97 98 instructions, i have a 2000 and it doesn't make any scene. The ecu goes under the bracket with the plug now pointing toward the headlight is the only way i get anything to fit, and its not even a little secure.
Based on how this fits i never would have purchased it, the aggravation was so not worth it. 185 used 200 new:th_wtf:

Any info would be help full, oh it seems to be the older version too.

I had to make a little PCM storage unit out of an aluminum paint container. I used double sided tape to hold the Thrasher box to the container.

When I bought mine...I didnt like how it sat either. I had my thrasher, with my make shift PCM tray, and it stayed put for over a year and half beforeI up and sold it.

If you are able to double sided tape the lower section of the thrasher box to the top of the PCM....it will hold it. unless you are doing some HIGH G force cornering....it will stay put. I will try to find a pic of my Tray.

What about your mileage? i got before with a all stock air box 26.4 now i'm lucky to get 24 mpg. more on average low 23's
What about your ecu what direction was it pointing (the plug)
Not happy at all, every car i had ever owned i had installed a CIA with great results until now.
