Those who have HIDS

Not sure if I want 6K or 8K. Are 6k slightly brighter but more white and 8K more blue but a little less bright.

6k are significantly brighter. It's very noticeable if you compare the two side by side. Also it's much harder on your eyes to look at the blue light. The whiter it is the brighter and easier to look at it will be.

5k is white

6k is blue white

8k is more blue blue

so I'd go with 6k to have white and a blue-ish tint to them.

4300 K headlights and 3000 K fogs....

you'll be both ballin and have the best colour temps for visibility.

That was quick. Thanks for the advice. I was leaning toward the 6K. I want good brightness with some blue.

This. Between 4300k and 5000k is where you get the max light output. 5000k will be pure white, and 4300 is an off white. I'm doing 5000k in the retrofits I'm currently making myself.

I have 6k now, but when I retro fit my projectors in I will be going 4300k, 6k is too blue for me.
