i was driving to day going 45. out of now where it sound like i ran over a chain. then 5 min later my wheel locks up and skids to a stop. it wont go forward but it will go in revers neutral only works in revers my trans locked up. i got it towed and its at the shop idk what happen it was out of the blue. any one have any ideas

had same problem.....my caliper brackett bolt came out flipped forward and locked up, take wheel off and check it out

iirc that bolt is like $18 at a dealer..... Luckily my bolt that fell out was the top one, so all I heard was a rattle.
