After all is said and done a built GP is still a GP.
Just saying. Not a civic fan, but I'll appreciate anything built right.
 
Its not bad, I know civic's can be done right and look good, and he was doing that right up until he put green wheels on it. I don't care for this oddball wheel color thing.

Black/grey/charcoal/gold on white are the best combos.

Yeah they can be done right, if your gonna do an oddball color, keep it with the calipers. I've been contemplating Orange or Purple calipers these days.

The ej1's can be made into a decent little road handler with all the parts they have for these cars.

you've never heard of a turbo? and i bet a rebuilt bottom end with forged goods on a honda motor costs like $82. if you know how to build a 4 banger, it will be brutally fast. ever seen an inline four motor running 45 pounds of boost on straight methanol making more horsepower than all of the cars in your driveway combined and doubled? okay then.

to all small engine haters: you're weak. grow up.
 


Bottom end stuff isnt cheap in the honda camps. FWIW, I had a 94 Coupe I did a engine swap in in 1998 I payed 3,300 for just the engine. Im sure prices have come down since but its not really that cheap
 
Its a nice car, given the work and $$$ thrown at it. But what sux is for a little more money than what is thrown in overall... that older C5 Z06 could have been what you left with. Granted, its not as custom, maybe even a little slower thru the 1/4, but top end its faster, its cleaner (no offense) and IF you get some hot chick to be interested, shed much rather roll in a Vette, than a honda. just give her the option and see what she chooses :th_laugh-lol2:

I've never gotten the JDM look either. Bright wheels just aren't appealing to me.
