The Most Ghetto-Rigged Exhaust, Ever.

The other day, me and a friend were working on straight-piping his exhaust (No, it doesn't sound like ****, he's got a V8), and we ran out of pipe near the end. The junkyard was closed for the day, so we started looking around his garage for any old exhaust systems we could cut pipe off of, couldn't find anything except the one he picked up for his other car (camaro) but we weren't about to cut that up cuz it was going on the camaro whenever we get around to putting the 350 in. So, no exhaust pipe laying around...BUT...you know what we realized had three inch stainless steel piping!?!? (Excuse the crappy cell pics).

Yes, that's a ****ing basketball hoop :p
That's him starting to cut it up.

Turned that into the exact length pipe we needed for each side....

And that, is the most ghetto-rigged exhaust ever.

meh, ghetto, but I don't think the most ghetto ever. Currently my Legends share one exhaust system. It has a series of clamps and aluminum holding it together, and is made up of three different exhaust systems. It has to be switched to whichever car I'm driving, as the other exhaust I have is fubar'd.

My exhaust just prior to installation.

Other exhaust after it fell off..

Oh and did I mention my intake is made up of two intake systems and some dryer vent?

But yeah, that is good thinking on your guys' part.

LOL! Thats to funny! But hey if it works it works! My dad gives me hell cause I have "plumbing pipe" under my hood!

That intake is pretty ghetto, but hey at least the exhaust is actually an exhaust :p
And jess just tell him to stfu cuz it's better than a $300 k&n and only cost $50 :th_peaceout:

I too an exhaust off a truck at work that was was hung up with clothes hangers. Now It is pretty custom bent true duels.
