Midnight tonight, COD:MW3 comes out. My beaches are ready, My elite is registered, now who wants to get PWNT! (Yes I'm waiting in line, I get off work at 11 and its on my way home, don't judge me!)

Damn Eastern-timers better take advantage they have of the hour before I get on! :th_nervous:

I would get the MW3 box... But I'm not that into MW and I don't want to waste time setting up a new box and recovering my gamertag when I could be playing MW3!
 
Sucks for you dpzelenak, because after an hour of getting used to new maps and weapons, you'll still get owned by central timers!

lol all the losers who waited in line at gamestop for this to come out. i drove by and its wrapped around the building..... like seriously. its a freaking game.
 
Download off Amazon for PC version no wait or Order off Amazon and get the **** same day the game comes out. I would rather do that.
 


I got off work at 11 and was the 3rd person to get it at a smaller local store that did a midnight release. I think I have about 10 hours logged already.

I'm not a fan of some of the maps though. Theres a lot of buildings wayyy too close to each other, the plus side of that is that I get to dominate with a shotgun, the downside is a ton of respawn kills.

The game moves a lot smother than MW2 and the graphics are much better, but if you bump into one of your own team mates, it lags for a second or two.

I haven't played any of campaign mode yet, because I'd rather have a horrible start online with the rest of the noobs now than have a good start and still get owned later.

The survival mode is kind of crazy. A bunch of zobies with shotguns come at you from all directions, and it intensifies everytime. When the C4 gets attatched to dogs and there's a ton of juggernauts, it can be a challenge.

My biggest issue with it is that Elite isn't working very well at all. They are addressing the issue though, and it worked for a short time for me today... To be honest, it kind of looks like what Bungie.com did for halo 3... For free...

All in all, it's not bad. Hopefully the new maps offer a better multiplayer atmosphere.
 
I saw long lines outside of a bunch of stores this morning. I havent really been big on FPS's since the first 007 came out. But I saw it at Blockbuster a few minutes ago, so I rented it. About to pop it in and see what all the fuss is about.
 
Be prepared to get killed, a lot! If you like 007 and halo, you probably won't be a fan of COD. COD is much more fast paced, and "Realistic" as some would say.
 


I played the last one. I hung in there. You dont realize the mouths on these kids these days until you shoot them in the head a few times.
 
that why i could never get into cod multiplayer on ps3 or 360, the kids wiggin out and swearing(kids not on pc thank god) and the spwan kills, and those kill streaks that let you call in all sorts of ****.. just not my game. ill download it to play the campaign, be 6-8 hours like any fps.
