Hey guys,

01 gp 3.1 all stock 170,000 miles.

for starters it's currently sittin in the driveway makin a nice paper weight. I picked it up on Halloween for $400. It had water in the oil and I just started tearing it down a little last night and a lot today. The cylinders also had water in them. I plan to make it my commuter car. I don't have a picture of the whole car but I did peel the cracked Pontiac sticker off the windshield first so I got the first victory. Here's some pictures I was taking while tearing it down.

I think I'm gonna try to find a 3.8 and top swap. It also needs a name.

ill get pictures later I can't figure it out right meow

Where in Kansas?

I've got an entire L67 power train I'd sell ya if you're interested. Just gotta yank it out of the car.

Had a bit of a change of plans sellin the car to my brother so I just replaced all gaskets and just trying to get it running. Someone lost one of the connectors that goes to the coil area. It's on the side that has 2 plugs and it's the smaller of the 2 from what I've found so far I think it's the crank position sensor and I can't figure out where it woulda got lost. Can anyone say where it's supposed to come from?

I found that one but now I got a new connector coming out of one of the harnesses right off the fuse box next to the overflow tank what could that one be?

I'm really struggling with pictures on this thing lol it's a 3 prong plug black with purple boot and it's got two wires to it that's green and brown. It's only about 6 inches long and it's the male plug

I've done some more reading and have come to the conclusion that it's an unused one. I got the car running just had to keep cranking it
