The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
the 04gt's chuggin / studdering at 40-50 when on even the slightest incline. but only for a few moments then is perfect again. i changed the wires/plugs today but i dont think thats it. anything helps guys.
okay, well i have narrowed it down to the spark plugs i think. i noticed that the middle front boot was not in as far as the rest. i replaced that wire. its not doing it as bad but it is def. still doing it. i used app606 autolie double platnium plugs. man this sux. i think the wires i bought may just be ****. they were $20 at advanced. xact was the brand here is a link Advance Auto Parts: Search Results for spark plug wire
Yeah they could, having a break in the wire coating, or a weak spot, the spark can jump to anything else metal. My 2002 had the same deal, but it was more on/off, depending on engine load. So one night we popped the hood, and revved it some, and sure enough, we saw sparking.
Replaced the wires with some 10.3mm wires, no problems since.
Just a tip, you might already know this. The easiest way to spot arcing is to park the car somewhere really dark at night, like an unlit parking lot or something, pop the hood with the car idling and have a look, have someone with you to rev the engine as well, you'll be able see any sparks easily.
nope. no sparks. i dont ****ing know. i know its not the trany. its like a limiter almost. it just wont go. and it seems to be wors. i feel like it has 1/2 power. im so pissed. ima just buy new wires and hope for the best
