i was thinking that maybe we could have a sub-section for auto type 'tech tips' or tips'n tricks -- like one of the posts awhile back, there was a suggestion to use a ratchet strap to help tilt the motor for working on the backside of the motor.

or the post i put up about using metal pulleys instead of plastic (with associated numbers of course)

or using turkey baster/syringe w/tubing or battery acid filler for sucking out the s/c oil etc etc

it would be a good place for people to post items such as this from experience of doing things DIY. -- would NOT mean this to be like the how-to section, those are more project type things.
 


I agree. We need a place to collectively store all the great ideas that come from the community that relate to doing things better or easier.
 
Should be a great section to learn the tricks of the trade. Anything that can make working on my gp easier, I'm up for it.
