i also have that same scanner, yes it clears codes, and shows i/m ready or not. also has a book with a list of codes and its description.

i got mine from ca off ebay. came in less then a week.

it was 12 bucks, and 4 for shipping. cant find a better deal really for a cheap scanner.
 
Big difference between code readers and tech 2.

Do they really make and sell a cheap Chinese tech 2 with software?

looking to use it to further map out some bin file parameters...i kinda wish i had one...but i spent enough for my snapon red brick
 


I went ahead and purchased one. It came with all of the stickers and software. Looks identical to the Tech 2. I used it to reprogram the body control module to get the second key fob to work. No issues.
