tcc Lock up issues

My TCC will not stay in lock up unless I am really light on the gas pedal it just keeps going in and out of lock up while at highway speed just cruising steady throttle under light load it will hold lock up and that's if I am accel to say 55 and if I am cruising at 55 it just pops in and out constantly but if I get on it a bit at 55 it will hold till I go back to light throttle.. anyone have any opinions I was told the TCC valve in the valve body wears and leaks pressure and sonax makes a repair set up for it but you will dump 400 in tools and special reamers and the valve kit. Anyone please help..

I had the same issue with my last gp. I was able to tune the problem out by increasing the duty cycle of tcc. Do you have access to a tuner? It has been a while since I have done it but I am sure someone else can chime in as to how much to adjust the table.

I had the same issue on my 99 GTP, ended up setting the MAX duty cycle table to 99%, and the MIN duty table to around 45% across the board. Keep in mind that doing this will make your TCC engagement very firm (almost feels like another shift when it engages).
