Take oil cap off and engine turns off

Hey I have a 97 grand prix gt. I just installed an HV3 insert yesterday and after I installed it I changed the oil and refilled the radiator fluid. Now my engine is shutting off if I take out the oil dipstick or take off the oil cap and sounds like the engine has just lost all of it's compression. Can anyone help me figure out what is happening?
 


Think about what the oil cap does. It keeps extra air from getting into the TB unmetered via the pcv area. So if you have a vacuum etc, check your pcv and that large vacuum hose from the brake booster.
 
Hey thanks guys, I actually went and put a new PCV valve in and now its working and isn't having the problem with the oil cap being taken off. Now only to find there is some kind of knocking sound coming from somewhere.
