Symptoms of bad lower tranny/engine mounts

Is there any sure sign of when the lower mounts go bad. I have AGX's and B&G's. It's more prominent on the driver side but when I do a slow roll over a crack in the road/pavement it's not quite a clunk, but not a smooth rollover either.

I know the mounts are hydralic, the struts are about 8 months old, 5000 miles, so any insite would be appreciated. Everything suspension wise was replaced when I did the makeover (swaybar included).

How about a lower ball joint?

Put in brand new lower control arms when I did the struts, springs... All the suspension is brand new (not to say it something couldn't of gone bad). The mounts I didn't touch though and probably factory original (160K).

get poly mounts and vinnies spacer. idk why you didnt do that since your car is lowered.

Check the tightness on the front lca bolts, mainly the torx head front ones. If they are loose you can get a clunk/pop noise.

I was thinking the same thing minichopper said. Double check that first.

The factory engine mount is hydraulic and collapses if it fails. Look at the dogbones on the front of the engine and see if they look out of alignment. My engine mount was bad and the dog bones were sitting crooked. When I removed the engine mount, there was a lot of oil under it. Replaced it, put it back together and the dog bones were lined up straight.
