Switch problem

Hey I kinda think i figure out the problem but idk if im sure. My switch that gives me option to defrost my front windshield, and blow towards floor or passengers, driver. It don't work i think it part of the console that might broke off inside. Which requires me to pull out the console. If im thinkin wrong could sum 1 tell me the right.
 


do you have a pic? if it is like mine on the 1993 it is a small electronic unit that you have to replace.
