• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

swapping

I have a 3.8 v6 natural. Engine blown and swapping with one with less mileage. What is needed besides the motor to do the swap. Everything comes with the motor.

Updated aluminum LIM gaskets, updated UIM, coolant elbows, oil for 2 changes, gasket sealer, injector o-rings, blue locktite for the rear cover of the motor (do it now while it's out, trust me), coolant (either stock Dex, or conventional green as long as you flush the system), valve cover gaskets and bolt grommets all come to mind.

Might as well do what you can while it's out of the car and have easy to access all of it ya know?

You aren't telling us what year you have or what the new motor comes from. We can't give you good information w/o some information upfront.

For example, some of your H body cars will have a 258mm flex plate. And on that same note, some $t60 equipped H body's with SC motors had 245mm flex plates. Brackets etc.. there are slight differences. Only slight though, if you put the motors side by side, you could easily swap over any parts that were different w/o needed us to show you those differences.
