swapping motors from 99 to 02

I am trying to get my gp to the point where it runs in better condition. ( to much wrong to name) but the motor is still good I want to swap them for a newer one with a blown motor and was trying to find someone close to me (plainwell mi) with a cherry picker that is willing to help me out I'm a little strapped for cash but I will pay and help out if needed.
