SW MI Grand Prix Club's Drag Racing Event (131 MSP)

Nobody showed up to it, me and my girlfriend were there but didn't see no one else. Kinda figured though cause no one mentioned anything on here for abit even aftered i asked if it was still going on. Not a good way to advertise your car club is it? Oh well I had a blast anyways and put in some good runs...

It would be nice to get a few people together to find out what our cars are made of and to have a good time racing/ hanging out. It would be nice to have 6-10 or more people show up. If this is a success, id like to do stuff like this in the future at either US 131 Motorsports Park or Gingerman Raceway.

Location: US 131 Motorsports Park, Martin MI

Date: August 14th

Time: 6pm-11pm

Cost:10 to spectate 25 to run.

Things that still need to be planned so far:
Make a list of food/stuff to bring for a racing event
Help any member getting their car to 100%

There will be tools (jack, air compressor, Mechanics tools, ect) and DHP tuner on site. Id also like to have a grill brought for Hamburgers/Hot dogs/Steak and a cooler for water/soda.

We need some drag racing here in Illinois other than the ones in Chicago.

I tried to make it but my transmission had other plans. The GP is currently dead but my regal should be done for next year. Im going to try this again but invite some of the local facebook w-body owners out so there is more than 2 cars. It would be nice to have some help organizing it as well just in case my junk breaks again. That way people can still have fun.
