Suspension suggestions

Greetings, I've searched and haven't found many suggestions on this option...

I have a stock suspension with 115k mi and I would like to upgrade the fronts purely for comfort, not performance. I was thinking of going with new stock everything except for the strut (GR-2). However, I hear the GR-2's give a slightly rougher ride than the stock suspension.

I've contemplated going with a fully stock assembly but I want to know if there is a strut I can switch to that will upgrade the comfort over stock. I have a fairly long commute on bumpy highway roads.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

GR-2s are a stock replacement strut. with stock springs they will ride just like stock with a little tiny itty bitty more stiffness. you wont be disappointed.

for comfort i have heard of people praising monroe struts.

yuckkkk gr-2s are garbage!!!!!! i had them and i hated my car, it rode hard as hell. i think you can put the 04 struts into the 97-03 style and they are much more softer, but dont quote me on that

Thats not the first time I've heard that the '04 struts can go on the '97-'03s but I didn't know they were more "comfortable". Is that what you're saying? Monroe's are on my short list for the time being but I'll have to read more to feel comfortable with getting them.

I don't want to get the GR-2's and regret it because they're too harsh..
