Suspension Suggestions

I've broken a spring which gives me an opportunity to upgrade. As much as is live to install a set of adjustable coil overs, that's just not in the budget unless someone has a set they're ready to part with.
Can I just put in a set of lowering springs without getting too far into it? I mean without getting into steering and a bunch of other stuff. I don't mind spending a bit on extras but...

Let me know your suggestions.

You could do just springs. I've been lowered on Eibachs for years now.

I will say this: If you go this route you will need engine and trans spacers to keep the axle alignment (which you can make yourself- instructions should be on here), anti-pogo washers on the fronts (they are just cradle spacer washers- look it up on here), you will eat struts faster (KYB Excel-G or GR's- whatever is cheaper) because last I checked no one makes a strut for these cars being lowered, and your ride quality will be more harsh. I DD my lowered GP and I've learned to go slow over speedbumps and watch the entrance/exit angle on steep driveways.

Thanks for the information, FordMan. I also DD by GTP and the roads here are amongst the worst so I do plan to drive carefully. Mercifully, my commute is only 20 minutes on generally good roads.
I've been considering AGX adjustable struts. Would I be able to increase the ride height for most of the time even with the lowering springs?
