• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

suspension shifting

Has anyone ever had this car feel like it shifts over to the right?

Example -

I can get off the expressway making a right has curve around. If I go over 25MPH it feels like the front end of the car shifts over to the right and when i come out of the turn (straighten) up the car. It shifts back in track. I can't seem to figure out what it is..

I'm at the point of no return here I may just get rid of the car.

Because of the amount of parts and work that are needed are starting to become more than the car is worth.
1997 Grand Prix SE 3.8 I'm about 1k miles from 200k...

Yes the sway bar is broken. But that would just cause excess body roll right? not the actual car shifting over in a turn?

And it does not shift over when doing left handed turns only right.

To check your tie rod ends, grab your tire and pull it back and forth like you were trying to steer the wheels with your hands. Look through the wheel at the tie rod end while doing this. The tie rod end and the part of the knuckle it is bolted into should not have any play between them. If they don't move together without any play, replace them and get an alignment.

I replaced the sway bar this weekend.

Looks like my Driver side lower ball joint is dead. With a pry bar I can get 1.5 inches plus or minus worth of movement out of it.

Also looks like the passenger side outer tie rod is shot.

Not to mention my gas lines are now leaking because they are so rusted... So I'm at work now and currently leaking my full tank of fuel all over the lot.
