• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

:th_nervous:i need new shocks and springs, im green to this stuff.
its a 98 gt, i dont want to lower it,jus want stock replacements, im not big on brands, im not rich.
should i get the part separate or in a combo? and wat brand, website or store. any input would be greatly appreciated

why do you think you need new springs?

do you want stock replacement or an upgrade from stock?

do you want cheap stuff that is preassembled, or do you want to do the work yourself?

wen i hit a bump it rattles on the drivers side. theres no rebound, its a rough azz ride, the car has 165k, dont want "cheap" stuff, reasonably priced, and not an upgrade (unless the price is right)

monroe sensatrac quick struts or the KYB equivilent.

Don't buy the econo lines.

replacing springs is typically a good idea considering the probable ass sag.

It's not a bad idea to replace the springs with that many miles on them. I would recommend kyb gr2's over the monroes. KYB makes a strut plus replacement that comes with the springs and struts preassembled for a direct swap in.

The part number for them are.
SR4002 (Front Right and Front Left)
SR4003 (Rear right)
SR4004 (Rear left)
