Would I have to change the transmission in my Grand Prix if I got changed the engine to one with a supercharger or could I just augment it?
 


well OP if you have a 97 car, you will want a new transmission.
If you have a 98+ car you can use the same transmission.
Top swaps can be great, but they often cause problems.
A whole engine swap tends to be easier.
