Supercharger Painting

Is there a reason why, a lot of the time, the section between the snout and the housing is unpainted?

The pulley is silver, and so are the ribs on the supercharger. It matches. They weren't too "cheap" to finish it. They just did it right.

If its black you won't notice the supercharger. Might as well leave it stock if your trying to hide it.

I've seen it done that way with other colors as well, not just black. When I do mine, I'm gonna be doing it in gold.

Mine looks like that because I painted it when I ported it and it was all apart, it is much easier to paint the snout and case then it is to put it all together and paint.

Most the time, its somebody too scared to touch the rotor assembly, afraid they will screw it up some how.
