Supercharger Belt Came Off!!

I was driving home today and when i came to a stop sign i hear a whining sound, so i sat there and listened for it some more, it got louder. So i pulled over on the road, then my gauges went dim for a moment and the car started sounding normal. So when i got back home i checked the hood and it smelled of burnt rubber, i looked around and saw that the belt to the supercharger was at the bottom of the engine bay! Any clues on what the hell happened?

More than likely one of your idler pulleys is seized up. I had this happen two years ago with my supercharger belts. The idler seized up and ripped off (plastic pulley, replace with a metal pulley instead). Last summer I had my main drive belt rip off because of a failed idler pulley as well. I floored it as I was merging onto the expressway from a light. I hit 80 mph or so when I noticed my powersteering was not working, and then I saw my coolant temp starting to raise really quick. I pulled off the expressway and ended up swapping pulleys and all was good after I replaced the pulley.
