Suggested adhesives for putting together headlights?

So i baked and old set of headlights and am modifying them slightly. There will be a time when I need to put them together again. What kind of adhesive works the best for putting the plastic lens back on? and also should i put silicon around the edge to help seal it up just to be on the safe side?

Gorilla glue works wonders...

but if you want to be able to take them back apart in the future for any reason I think the best is a clear silicon used liberally

I kinda figured that its easy enough to use any kind of glue but like you said, i would like to be bale to get them open if need be. lol. Thanks for the help.

I used black silicone when I modified my stock lights.

Clear windshield silicone.

Black RTV silicone i use it for almost any type of liquid seal that is required on car related stuff
