i bought mine at advance auto. you need the one with two clamps like this:

Only special tool you will need is a coil spring compressor. :roll eyes: Two bolts at the bottom and three at the top remove the entire assembly just be careful the spring is strong. With the spring compressed you will need a allen wrench to hold the shaft so you can loosen the bolt. For the cost just replace the top mounting assembly don't use the old one and make sure you rotate the spring into the rubber mount before you retighten the bolt. It's not hard I'v done it so many times now it takes me about 10 min the get the assembly out. ;) The back ones are a little harder because getting to the top bolts is a pain there is not a lot of room to get to the bolts in the trunk I use a ratchet wrench set for through bolts it's not a deep as a regular ratchet and socket so fits better. good luck the first time.

Just Go to Oriellys and borrow the tool. Pay the deposit. Do the struts within 24-48 hours and take the tool back. Get deposit back... Done.

Never had a Problem. I work at a Body shop and we seldomly need to replace a strut. But when we do We go and rent it.
