struts/mounts swap

I have a 2000 grand prix gtp. both of the front struts and strut mounts are bad. My buddy has a 2002 grand prix im not sure of the trim or engine size but i was wondering if those parts are interchangeable? Id just like to know if they will work so i can get them for free rather than spending $500 on them

They will work just fine.
 
okay thanks! also My heater/ac fan just stopped working. The ac clutch has been out for a while now but the heat worked good up until a couple days ago. It doesnt do anything but make a faint clicking noise when i change the fan speed/temp or position. any idea whats wrong? or if i can fix it with parts from the 2002?
