I am looking for new front struts for my GTP

I cant find ones thay will work.

The ones from auto zone it says cant use 17 inch wheels??

Should I get comp g struts??

Thanks

I just had all my struts done. Some will probably suggest other ones, but I just went cost efficient. I did the Monroe Struts. The back ones they make in a quick strut, it has the spring and ever thing ready to go. Pop the old out and in with the new. Those cost me 318.00 and my step dad did the work. He said it took him about 1.5 hours. My front ones are also Monroe, but they were done at a Pomp's Tire center. Those ones they had to order the strut and then the spring and the strut mount stuff separately. Those were pretty close to the same cost. The FE3 that is the OEM CompG strut are like 200 or more a piece! I couldn't justify spending over 1,000 bucks. The Monroe are fine. I'm still waiting for it to settle a little bit, it feels like im in a semi. It sits a little higher. That's my two cents. Otherwise I was told the KYB GR-2 were a good replacement from the original. Depends on if you just want to keep it close to stock as possible. Hope this helps a little. OH, I picked up the back Monroe Quick Struts from Advanced Auto Parts locally.

They sell quick struts for all around on these cars IIRC.

GR-2's would be a bit stiffer than stock. Good if you wanted a more "sporty" ride but wanted to stay at stock-ish ride heights.
