Struts and springs

All,
I have a 2000 grand prix GT sedan. I bought it and the owner had wedges in the rear springs... figured out why a few days ago when one of them fell out... seems the springs and struts may be shot... what is a good set of springs and struts. I don't want to lower the car as I do live in rural Iowa and have a farm... low profile is not a good idea. Currently now if I get more than one person sitting in the back seat and hit a bump the rear tires will rub (or so it sounds like)....
Thanks,

i have a system in my trunk and 17 inch bullitt rims i remember that scrape.... and rubber chunks.... yeah haha just replace with factory replacements or go to autozone get struts i believe 64 bucks a peice i want to say? fixed my issues.

haha... so I have good buddy who is a mechanic here (he does most of the mechanic work I choose not to do) and he pushs monroe struts and springs... we put a set of those on and found that fixed the issue... but, we found whats really causing the rub.... the rear fender area of this car was hit be some moron in a truck before I bought it.... and well... it seems the edge of the fender is also bent in about an inch or so.... and so the wheel rubs the edge of the fender... awsome I know... now off to do some body work... fml.
