Strange idle, barely goes, boost gauge maxed

Hello,

I am an unfortunate owner of a 99 GTP. I've had a problem for a few years where the engine would start cutting out when boost was over ~25%, I looked into fixes at first but eventually accepted that it is an old car and I just need to be easy on it.

Today, everything changed. I was going around a corner when all of a sudden it seemed like the car was going to die. My idle varied between 500-1000rpm at first, then settled at about 1200. The boost gauge was at about 50% with my foot off of the gas. When I gave it even a little gas, the boost went to 100% and it did not go any faster. This is all happening between 5-10mph, that was all it would do.

Any ideas on what could be going on here? This is my only car and it is undriveable.

Thanks!

the check engine light flash? or is it on now? or has it been on for the last how many years?

sounds like a clogged cat, or you need a tune up real bad.

It would come on maybe once every few months when I would gas it too hard and tell me about a misfire. The cylinder varied.

Now I'm getting these codes, too much to be useful. I think I should clear them and see what comes back.

P0134 - 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank I Sensor 1)
P0332 - Knock Sensor 2 Circuit Low Input (Bank 2)
P0507 - Idle Air Control System RPM Higher Than Expected
P0716 - Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit Range/Performance
P0756 - Shift Solenoid B Performance or Stock Off
P0101 - Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Range/Performance Problem
P0108 - Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
P0113 - Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input
P0125 - Insufficient Coolant Temperature for Closed Loop Fuel Control
P0133 - 02 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0134 - 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank I Sensor 1)
P0137 - 02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank I Sensor 2)

Sounds like an electrical problem, maybe a bad ground. If you have never had any of these codes before then I would suspect a wiring harness problem, or ground issue.

ever do a tune up? i mean if your driving it for years messed up that can cause all sorts of codes.

the o2 and maf codes check the fuse in the under hood box # 21 iirc, read the map in the box to be sure. this fuse powered thwe o2 and the maf.

I don't really know every detail that is part of a "tune up" but I have changed plugs, wires, and coil packs. This doesn't feel like that kind of issue.

#21 look right? I really should have made this image smaller. Thanks a ton for the input guys, I really appreciate it.

When I cleared the check engine codes it went back to normal. I'm not kidding, what?!

ok so its running like normal now? you get full throttle and boost like normal?

id drive it for a while and wait for the codes to come back, its running ok now because they have been cleared, they will all be tested again and set the light in a day or so.

read the codes as soon as it lights up, address that code first.

Scary, I don't really want to get stranded but that is what I'll have to do. Thanks for the input
