Im gonna get a new terminal to run my amp off of since the battery is annoying and hard to get a good connection on. So my question is, is the stock positive wiring 8 or 4 gauge? thanks for the help
 


Just wire it to the top of your fuse box.

Its a shorter run as well.

And why would you need to know the size of the stock cable for that?

I was gonna get a new battery terminal with multiple outputs so i would need to know the gauge of the two wires already connected to the battery. So it is safe and ok to just connect it to the fuse box? I wasn't sure thats why I was doing what i was just about to do.
 
its very much safe to connect it there so long as you cut the protector so you can still have it on there and covering the metal underneath.

That and have a proper ground.
