Stock stereo problem - 04 GP

Just bought a 04 GP Gt. Love the car except I just came to realize it will not load any cd's. It will not grab them and pull it in. If I push it in most of the way and hit eject it will push it back out. No monsoon or onstar. Any thing I can try to get it to work or will I have to swap it out? If I do have to swap it out... What OEM stereos will fit with plug and play, with red display, and not mess up my DIC, other then the reprogram from the dealer which I am aware of.
